“The Aurora is what remain from our old broken bones. A tribute to who we were, a look to how will be. The chance to live a sign in a world of dispair, an undefined color without borders, an undefined entity without malice, a little hope to glitter on the surface of the sea.”
Born in 2020 during the global pandemic, The Aurora are an Italian metalcore band, mixing the aggressiveness of the hardcore with the melody of emocore into a unique personal sound.
The first album “Crowd” will be released piece by piece starting on August 8th, 2020.

Too Loud Records and The Aurora proudly presents the first installment of their EP trilogy, “Maunder Minimum.” This series, named after solar cycles, explores the band’s creative depths and commitment to addressing critical issues facing our planet. “Maunder Minimum” sets the stage for a powerful journey into the heart of modern metalcore and post-hardcore.

“Maunder Minimum” takes you on a sonic journey through emotional landscapes and powerful soundscapes, setting the tone for the entire trilogy. Guitars thunder with intensity, percussion pounds like lightning, and vocals alternate between brutality and melody. As you listen, you’ll discover a narrative that touches on the challenges facing our planet and the sea. Produced, Engineered, Mixed by Riccardo Daga at Titans Lab Recording Studio and Mastered by Andrea Bernardi at Eleven Mastering. Out on January 26, 2024.

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band The Aurora from Italy. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it or came out just like that?
The name comes from Alessandro, years ago…

…Powerful vocal and instrumental work drive this track through unique transitions and heavy breakdowns, complimented by a hypnotic guitar lick that seems to stay present the whole track…
…The future of metal core is here…
…”Chains” is an epic track that contains every element that you’d want in Metalcore/Post-Hardcore hit. Clean and screamed vocals, aggressive and melodic instrumentals, earth shattering breakdowns…
…The Aurora has released the intensifying single, “6 Reasons,” and it’s safe to say that they’ve proven how fearless their performance can be. “6 Reasons” begins with striking guitar riffs, followed by an ever more intense production. The production is definitely what keeps the tone of the track impassioned and forceful, which only allows The Aurora to amplify their ferocity even further…
