Swedish punk rock band
DEAD POLLYS return with a bold and unconventional project:
POLLYMIMIC, a reverse-tribute album where their songs are reinterpreted by other bands from across their extended scene.
More than just a compilation, POLLYMIMIC captures the raw energy and community the band has built over the years through touring, shared stages, and collaborations. Each track is reshaped through a different artistic lens, blending styles, attitudes, and identities into a cohesive yet unpredictable record.
The first single,
“Jimmie Jimmie” performed by
Sugar Rats, will be released on
June 5, followed by the second single on
July 3, featuring
The Amnesia with their take on
“Here Comes the Nightmare”.
The full album is scheduled for release on
September 25.
The record features a mix of Too Loud Records artists including FANKAZ, The Amnesia, and Kauz of Affliction alongside bands who have shared the stage with DEAD POLLYS over the years, such as Sugar Rats, 7 Bullets, and TOXIC and many more.
The result is a cross-section of the modern punk rock underground, driven by a shared DIY ethos and a strong sense of identity.
The entire album was
produced, mixed, and mastered by Riccardo Daga at Titans Lab Recording Studio, with in-studio recording sessions carried out at Titans Lab for FANKAZ and The Amnesia.
