DEAD POLLYS unveil a new chapter of Pollymimic: “Here Comes the Nightmare” performed by THE AMNESIA

What happens when a song leaves the hands of its creators and finds a new voice?

That question lies at the heart of Pollymimic, the upcoming Dead Pollys album where every track is reimagined and performed by a different band from the international punk rock scene. Rather than a traditional tribute record, Pollymimic is a celebration of creativity, collaboration and mutual respect between artists.

The latest preview from the album is “Here Comes the Nightmare“, completely reinvented by Italian alternative rock band The Amnesia.

Known for their emotional intensity, atmospheric songwriting and modern rock approach, The Amnesia take the original punk energy of the song and transform it into something darker, heavier and deeply immersive. Their interpretation doesn’t simply cover the track, it rebuilds it from the ground up, revealing new shades of emotion while remaining faithful to its core.

With Pollymimic, the Dead Pollys invite listeners to experience familiar songs through completely different perspectives. Every participating band contributes its own personality, influences and sound, making each release a unique collaboration rather than a straightforward cover.

Following the first singles from the project, “Here Comes the Nightmare” further showcases the diversity that defines the album and highlights the creative connections between bands from different backgrounds, all united by the same DIY spirit.

“Here Comes the Nightmare” performed by The Amnesia is available on all major digital streaming platforms via Too Loud Records.

The entire album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Riccardo Daga at Titans Lab Recording Studio, with in-studio recording sessions carried out at Titans Lab for FANKAZ and The Amnesia.

POLLYMIMIC will be released both digitally and on CD via Too Loud Records, with physical distribution handled by Code7 Distribution.
